The three super epic protect stun absorber monsters together could be ultra evolved into a legendary that has similar attributes but is quite a bit better (think aegisdragon)
The three (or four) one on one super epics with throw would get the same treatment (think the skeleton legendary)
Some of the desperate double monsters would also be combinable. (Think nightlord...maybe)
I think there are a LOT of perks to implementing something like this and it doesn’t seem that hard to implement because you’ve already been able to do this in the regular ultra evolution format. Consider the following list of perks and disadvantages:
1) for new players it’s really cool to know that some of your super epics will be working towards a legendary and it’ll be fun to get some of those super epics randomly because you’ll know that you’ll be that much closer to a cool legendary
2) getting three-four really similar superepics is actually fairly lucky so I don’t anticipate everyone really running around with the new legendaries that you introduce so they will likely be hard but not impossible to obtain and a source of motivation for players
3) It adds another really interesting layer to the game and people will likely get behind it
4) It’ll be really cool finally getting that fourth super epic that you always needed and being able to turn it into a legendary.
1) For each new combination that you decide to implement (and I would implement around 5 that way it’s not too obscure but there aren’t so many new legendaries obtainable this way for now) you need to design a new legendary... I’m not sure how difficult this is.
Other players please let me know what you think of this idea. Perhaps if we all really like it then we can get the devs to make it happen!!!

The problem with this is that it would be WAY too easy to get certain legends. Not only does that kill challenge and hurt variety, but it would be a very hard blow on the dev's income.

For example say there are exactly 100 superepics and a player has 80 of them. If the devs say some four superpixs become a legendary then the player only has a 40% chance of being able to get that legendary (.8)^4x100. Those odds really aren’t high to the point where they should impact profits because acquiring 80 unique legendaries (no dupes) takes quite some time and even then it’s not even close to a gurantee

I don't feel combining monster to lose them and gain a legendary is actually that beneficial in this game for a few reasons. The main one that comes to mind is the fact that it may actually eliminate from the fact that SE are actually very useful in this game and can all serve a function. The other thing is the fact that lower cost mons are necessary in making a full and complete team. Lastly you would be combining mons of different elements to gain a single element mon which is and isn't beneficial since element bonus is quite good. I feel the devs are going in the right direction with keeping it simple and I hope they allow me to keep my mons should they continue with Neo 2 (they can force me to unlock them via a lvl or something and that is fine) but I would only ever be able to support 1 and as things stand I'm highly attached to this one and would like to keep any and all of them as all of them have designs that are extremely nice imo which was a major draw to this game. :/ I also feel that allowing the games/player data to cross between the two would be beneficial for the company on that regard since it will increase the player base and allow for players to switch between the two if they are going to be different. This would also allow or help the company to monopolize on its player base in particular when the player has downtime in one they can switch to the other. What I mean by that dev's is that the mons are unlocked but fresh in Neo 2 btw, it is just unlocking a mon in one of them unlocks it in the other one as well.

I don’t understand your point about elements at all. It seems like you’re trying to make two arguments: 1) how can many different element monsters create a monster of a single different element? (My reply: everyone was cool with chronox doing this and it isn’t that big of a deal that two fire monsters and a water monster evolve into a holy monster in my opinion. That shouldn’t be a reason to stop this). 2) you enjoy element bonuses. (My reply: I’m not sure what that means. If you need a certain monster to make link strategies work then maybe in your case don’t trade the four for a legendary. If you’re talking about element bonuses as in a water monster deals extra damage to a fire monster, I’m not seeing how that is relevant to this).
Basically what I’m saying is that you would still have the option to evolve or not and when you’re at the point where you have 4 monsters you’re probably going to have a largely legendary team and will likely accept the evolution because worrying about losing 4 super epics won’t be a big deal especially if the legendaries mimic the roles of the four super epic stars but are stronger. Who really needs four protect teammate monsters in their lineup? Most people don’t need more than one or two and would totally welcome a protecting legendary.
As far as the secs not getting money... I see your point but also I think introducing new legendaries especially if they’re solid lenendaries but by no means killer then people are still going to buy just as much in my opinion. Also this will allow devs to make festivals just for the superepics that can lead to legendaries. This may bring in some cash if done well (less than normal but still) people are always going to want to buy.

Those are also all farmable and require items from playing for a while (the stars). The other main point I'll make is that compensation would be needed for +9 mons in this regard if something like this were to ever happen. If they wanted to make a search function requiring certain mons for a chance at finding X mon I would be more ok with that. High + on the mons = higher chance at finding X legendary, no compensation needed, nothing lost permanently and only temporarily rewarding both new and older players.
I could also only see them doing this with event SE, not ones available only from egg.
